National Fallen Firefighters Foundation

The United States Congress created the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation in 1992 to lead a nationwide effort to honor America’s fallen firefighters. Our mission is to honor and remember America’s fallen fire heroes, assist their survivors in re-building their lives, and reduce firefighter deaths and injuries. The National Fallen Firefighters Foundation is the only fire service organization that represents every facet of the American fire service—career, military, volunteer, and wildland. The Foundation is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, located in Emmitsburg, Maryland. It is registered as a corporation in the State of Maryland. When Congress created the Foundation, it did not provide funding or financial assistance, so the Foundation relies on funding through private donations from caring individuals, organizations, corporations, federal grants, and other foundations.

OATH

OATH (Outdoor Association for True Heroes)

Outdoor Association for True Heroes, Incorporated, or OATH, Inc., is a faith based Nonprofit Organization that utilizes various outdoors activities centered around Faith, Family, and Community to improve the quality of life of our eligible veterans.  OATH has a proven list of programs that are affecting the very fabric of the veteran family unit, and we could not be more proud.

  • Brother's Keeper Program, where we pair a veteran with a Keeper, who boldly proclaims that he or she will keep daily tabs on their specific veteran to ensure his or her constant safety, we are changing lives.
  • Battle Buddy Program, where we pair a Gold Star child with a member of his or her fallen parent's unit to further a unique bond, we are changing lives.
  • Foxhole Program, where we travel to local nursing homes to take their elderly veterans on a fun day of fishing, we are changing lives.
  • Warrior Wives Program, where we hold retreats in order to focus solely on supporting the wives of our veterans, we are changing lives.

These are but a few of our successful programs, and we are working feverishly to create more sound and effective ways to save the lives of our veterans.  It is only through your generosity and kindness that we will be able to do so, and we genuinely thank you for your continued support!

Spirit of Blue

Spirit of Blue

Over 900,000 law enforcement officers honorably serve the population of the United States - that equates to 1 officer for every 350 citizens. On average, 125 officers are lost and another 15,000 are injured in the line of duty each year. Yet funding for safety equipment and training is dwindling as tax revenues decline. The need for supplemental funding to protect these officers has never been greater.

The Spirit of Blue Foundation is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to the enhancement of officer safety and vitality throughout the law enforcement community by promoting public awareness for their protection and fulfilling safety equipment and training needs.  We believe there is strength-in-numbers. The Spirit of Blue Foundation’s joining forces approach is intended to benefit the law enforcement community in more ways than one. By joining forces with other non-profit organizations we are able to reach a larger audience, educate that audience on the importance of the safety of our men and women in blue, and raise funds for the purpose of safety equipment grants as well as for our participating non-profits.
